The Hispanic Leadership Network co-chairs, Governor Jeb Bush and Secretary Carlos Gutierrez released the following statement on the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month:
“For generations, Hispanics have been a part of the American fabric. We honor their many contributions to America during Hispanic Heritage Month.
“Across this nation, Hispanics have enriched the American experience for centuries. They have selflessly served their country in the armed forces, they have invigorated our economy, and many have built and grown businesses.
“This month is a chance for all Americans to rediscover the richness and diversity of the Hispanic community. We look forward to a robust celebration of our shared history and future this Hispanic Heritage Month.”
